"I spent countless hours roaming the streets, hoping to find locations that were stories in themselves. Of course, I didn't have to look far, as everywhere you turn in Cuba there's another gold mine for the eyes. Not just the old American cars from the 50's and before, but everything else which became frozen in time during the revolution, contributed to a sense of having traveled backward in time."

R.P. "Dick" Washburne traveled to Cuba three times; two month-long trips in 2001 and a two-week trip in 2011. He spent countless hours roaming the streets, seeking locations and scenes that were stories in themselves. With this exhibition, we present some of those stories, showing a fascinating look into a Cuba before the inevitable changes occur.
